John's view's on lau gar " personaly i find the style has something for everyone, with it's roots firmly based in a traditional family style and the high standard and traditional values maintained by Master Yau, the style has proved it's self on the open competition circuit as one of the most practical styles around, the kickboxing classes produce winners, but also provide practical self defence and promotes fitness and confidence in a safe and friendly enviroment. the traditional classes have the same benifits as well as the insight into the culture and history of kung fu, it excersises the mind as well as the body
