London Aikido Dojo
Tony Evangelou     tony@londonaikido.com
The London Aikido Dojo was first opened in Bacon's College Sports Centre, Timber Pond Road, Rotherhithe, London. SE16 1AG on the 16th February 2000. Over the past three years the club has grown to become one of the largest Aikido clubs within the British Aikido Association and the Kikusui Kai Aikido Group.

We are a recognised British Aikido Association Club and hold membership of the British Aikido Board and the Japanese Aikido Association.

Classes are held every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings in the upstairs gym at Bacons College Sports Centre.

The practice of Aikido can benefit everyone, regardless of age or gender. Anyone who attends regular well run classes, can enjoy and improve their health and fitness as well as learning new skills and body movement.

Aikido is essentially non-violent, encourages harmony and avoidance of confrontation.

The classes are aimed at all levels from beginner to advanced and everyone is welcome to come along regardless of level, fitness or experience.

We have Aikidoka that visit us on a regular basis from other clubs and associations.

The sports centre also has a fully equipped gym, showers, changing rooms and other sport facilities.
