Holbrook Judo Club
Paul Vella & Brian Starr     judocoachpv@aol.com, judo.coach@virgin.net
Holbrook Judo Club is one of the largest and strongest Junior Judo Clubs in Hampshire. With over a 100 Juniors of all grades, age and ability. Our coaches are dedicated to the teaching of this Olympic sport in a safe and friendly environment and great emphasis is placed on the very young Judo players. Indeed the Kano Club is one of the most popular schemes run by the BJA. It involves the teaching of 5 to 8 year olds in a non-competetive environment where there is no pressure on them to compete against other youngsters, (They will get enough of this at a later date).

Due to the Clubs large geographical area there is no permanent dojo. The mats are a typical old style which are covered in a more traditional canvas. Perhaps through sponsorship we might be able to get a proper set of Gee Mats? (Who knows).
